Any business is always owned by someone. It may be one person, or thousands people. So any business may have a number of different ownership types depending on the aims as well as objectives of the owners.
Mostly, businesses’ aim is to make profit for the owners. Profit may not be the main objective, but to survive in the long term a business needs make a profit. Some organizations however are ‘not-for-profit’, such as charities and government-run corporations.
